Windows 8 avrà un Appstore di sua propietà, ad annunciarlo è stata la Microsoft,che fin ora è l' unica software house a non averne uno.

Inoltre si è scoperto che Windows 8 è stato sviluppato da 35 Team diversi, tra cui anche il Team creatore del Kinect Human Interaction Platform.
